Countries

In my travels I managed to reach six countries during my time in South America. As much as I would have loved to visit even more, my ethos to travelling was if I’m enjoying something, keep enjoying it! As such I spent just under two months in Colombia, and a varied amount of time in every other. You’ll find a list below of each country where you’ll find a bit of information to peak your interest. Each country will contain all the best places and experiences of my travels, but will begin foremostly with information on each country, giving a small roundup of their history, a look at the country today, and some general information such as currency and best modes of transport. Enjoy!

Cuba

A country so vastly different from any I have travelled to before. It is a socialist stronghold, with none of the capitalist features we are so used to nowadays. What makes it so exciting is that it is on the brink of change, large investments from China and India promise innumerable transformations on that small Island. That is why it was immensely exciting to see it before it one day becomes unrecognisable of its former self, and why, given the chance, you should travel there as fast as you can.

Colombia

Ranging from the lush Amazonian Rainforest, to the crystal clear waters of the Pacific Coast, this country offers spectacular locations and incredibly hospitable people. The two months I ended up staying in this country are testament to its beauty, culture, and all the wonderful people I met during my time there. All the way from Northern Colombia right down to the border with Ecuador there are cities and small towns that will enthrall and intrigue you.

Ecuador

Peru

Bolivia

Argentina
